someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

Claiming to be from EE network, I just put the phone down and blocked them, rang me several times
Automated message stating that foreign transactions had appeared on my bank card but did not state which bank or confirm my name or details. Went on to ask me to press '2' to cancel the transactions, so I hung up and checked the phone number out. It is unobtainable and has no ratings with you so I wrote this one. Take care. Definitely not a bank!
Automated response who claimed there was fraud detected on my national insurance number.
I was called from this number at 7:53 on Monday morning. Call from 'Microsoft Technical Centre'. I pointed out the inconvenient time and they promised to call back...........' I told them not to bother.

This was the number that called me back after responding to a search on Google for an emergency plumber. The booking for a call out was £50 to start with and then there would be charge for the work done. By the time the plumber arrived a friend had resolved the problem and he was not needed. He still insisted on doing something and then charged £220! When we challenged they reduced it to £150. I advised that this was a total rip off! Do not use 24/7 Emergency Services!

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? SCAM So rude on the phone asking me about social housing. I have had numerous calls from this number I have blocked all numbers and asked repeatedly to be taken off. The girl said "you don't even know what the call is about" I said can you take me off again she said "were just gonna keep calling you".

We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details. I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

Some idiot claiming to be from some investment firm in Canary Wharf. Claimed I'd spoken to a "colleague" and this was a follow-up call. Sounds like a boiler room.
