Keep on ringing me, when I answer there is a small 'beep' and a recorded message says 'goodbye' and cuts off.

Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. As usual, no message was left on the answerphone, which is always suspicious! Now blocked.

Pretend to be TalkTalk asking for details of your computer login to"help deal with suspicious downloads". Recommend blocking this creep and reporting them to Talk Talk.
