Appears to be a local number however call is from an international call centre. They asked to perform a quick survey and quoted some personal details. They weren't clear where they called from.
Said to be BT Technical re: Broadband line compromised. Don't believe it - if it's BT try using a British voice not a poxy fake American.
I have received 5 missed calls in the past two days but when I call back there is no ring tone just background interference.
This number just keeps ringing. It is infuriating and if I find out who it is, god FN help them !!

SCAM claim to be from telephone preference hang up block number
SCAM: These people called a very elderly and confused relative claiming to provide call barring services and asking for her debit card details to charge her £89. After the call she realised she had been scammed. There are 113 companies registered at the address they gave.

Had them call around midday and it claimed they were following up on the government's free loft insulation. It then started asking questions and I noticed that if I didn't give the 'right' answer it would repeat the question. I think it is a computer-controlled call that responds to replies and from searches it may also be a cloned number. I hung up and call barred them.
