Possible scam: rang saying my house had come up on some database indicating inadequate insulation (how would they know?); told him we were over-insulated and were always opening windows for ventilation, etc., but before I could finish he rang off, clearly realizing he wouldn't get anywhere! Mentioned 'NG' which was supposed to pass for National Grid, I suppose. Perfectly plausible-sounding chap - but then he would be, wouldn't he?
