A foreign male who tried to extort money
A very aggressive and rude call from Cancer Research wanting money. When told not to call again he said that only the person he was looking for could request that. I ve now blocked the number on my Truecall.co.uk box, he ll never get through again from this number.
These people rang me on 01782887349 about 6 months after I tried to use them for a quote. The caller could not pronounce my name correctly and I was unable to make out which Insurance Company she represented. She rang off when I used my "old fart" I can t hear you dear, routine. The company was in fact useful in that originally they informed me of "3" YES "3" to blame claims in my name. I now have none and it was a task to get in touch with the CUE Database people, the BBC, journalists and other insurers

They call leaving voicemails saying ‘this is not a marketing call, please call back’ I’ve also had texts asking to call back quoting the following reference number...which is different every time. And the name they use to address me via text spells both my first and last name wrong (not just one letter wrong, almost incoherently wrong!) so I will be blocking these obvious scammers!
Said they were O2 and wanted to save me money on my contract. Unsure if this is who they really were or not, but didn't have time to talk so I hung up on them.
This is a really great computer training company; they come to your house, and help you with anything you need help learning how to use, and also how to find out how to use something yourself. Apparently from the "big 5" energy suppliers, who are doing free energy assessments on your street. They got my postcode wrong then rang off instantly when I said I was taken care of and had an Environmental Science degree!
