Fraud/SCAM Pretends to be Revolut, they knew my name, home address and email address used with Revolut. Claimed my card ending NNNN was added to new device, tried to get more information. When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. Fraud Automated system that tells you your card has been used and to cancel it press a number to speak to someone. always inform your card's fraud dept when you get one of these calls, give them the details of the call including the phone number and the date/time of the call along with the number that you were contacted from so they can get it investigated.

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

Claims to be calling from Virgin Media, when challenged (I'm on TPS, I'm not in a Virgin cable area, etc) they hang up. Same outfit call three or four times a day, always from a different spoofed number.

Caller from this number claimed to be from EE network which was unbelievable due to thos callers total lack of professionalism and dreadful attitude. Obviously yet just another tedious no hoper trying to scam the vulnerable with all the brinkmanship, skill and dexterity of a toddler with a plastic sword. If this is the level our scammers are currently operating at, then we genuinely have very little to fear.

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam. Called for days without speaking until today pretending to be from "Merchant Review". Asking to speak to "whoever is in charge of the merchant account" when told we don't have a credit card machine they hanged up. Very fishy.

SPAM Person asked for a name that I have never heard of. I told him sorry, wrong number. He said "that's fine, what's your name please?" I said he doesn't need my name as he has called the wrong number and he got mad at me telling me that I'm rude and should tell him name. I hung up.

A man with a very strong Indian accent said his name was James, called from this number saying he was from 3 mobile. He said it was regarding an "upgradetion" He didn't ask me to confirm even my name, but asked how much I was paying for my monthly contract. I told him if he was really from 3, he would already have access to that information, he didn't want to talk any more, and hung up on me. Definitely a SCAM!
