Seems to be a HMRC scam call

I was called by this number to say someone was trying to purchase 200 on amazon and 700 on ebay. They first said my visa was being used I don't have a visa, then he said it could be a Mastercard? I asked who he was , he said 81 Newgate Street London, but I meant was he from my bank ?, he said he was from barclays , I do not have a barclays account.

SCAM Claimed from curries trying to sell i Phone contracts caller had American accent over what sounded like a south Asian accent, claimed to be from Bangladesh working for curries when questioned. kept asking for my email address to send details.

SCAM claiming to be Debt collectors, rung on six occasions, last call very aggressive and threatening staff by some bloke with Scottish accent ( weather real or not ) claiming the be the boss and we had had enough chances to clear the debt which was for £4700.00 plus £950.00 for their expenses We are a funeral Directors and the idea was they told us because the nature of our business they didn’t want to call and was hoping that it could be settled over the phone. SCAM, probably. Called them back after googling and it just says "welcome to Expert Developers, press 1 to get through to an agent". Considering how dumb a name "Expert Developers" is, it's almost def a scam.

Missed call

SCAM Noisy call centre. A woman with a thick Indian accent says "I am calling about your car accident" but hangs up as soon as you question her about details of where she's calling from.

Getting cute If you do a reverse check on this number via Google it produces a blocking page saying you are not allowed to look it up Go a little deeper and it says this number does not exist Seriously concerned by the level this number is going to to hide itself Cant be good

Indian accent, claiming to be from O2 offering 30% discount on your plan. They try to trick you by submitting a 'forgotten password' command onto your account. You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. They try to convince you that's the 'discount activation code' and ask you to give it to them, presumably to hack your account while on the phone to you. Do not give them anything! Fraud

Fraud pretended to be my bank after recent bank fraud, new my name, date of birth and address and card details. I have checked with my actual bank, this was not their staff.

Unsolicited call from the number 0238 069 2375 on late morning of 06/09/22 claiming to be from Amazon. Fake call for the purposes of fraud. Mildly threatening.

Tried to tell me I overpaid my insurance on my washing machine and had a refund for me of £119.00 and could they have my bank details. Never had insurance

this is a scam. it says you have had money removed from your bank.

DANGER, beware, this is clearly a scam; vocal reconstruction makes it sound authentically English but it's criminal.

Automated message starting to tell me about a non-existent Amazon order I'd placed valued at £749 so I just hung the call up

Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.
