Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. What! I told him I was an IT Consultant (truth) and he started telling me what to do. Several times I told him he was a scammer but he completely ignored me. Keeps ringing several times each week. I know its telemarketing as it only rings a couple of times before cutting off! Why can t the telecomms authorities DO something about these "sons of a thousand fathers"?

Calls and Texts from Bernicia Homes Housing Association. Main number for contacting housing association. Texts received are to confirm annual appointments for Gas checks on boilers etc.

Started getting calls from this number. Inserted into by mobile call blocker. Hopefully they will stop calling when they realise I automatically cut them off every time.

Received text from 07413284805 saying "...records indicate you may be entitled to ?3750 for mis-sold insurance" and to text back or call this 0844 number. I ve never taken the insurance - its a scam. I wonder if there is an automated way to respond to their text and overload it... Just a thought.

Like last commenter yes they use a network of number local and otherwise in the hope u ll pick up the phone They have been phoning my house phone for months with an automated man message And now they have my mobile number Great! Too much of our information is easily accessed by these people under the credit rules What happened to data protection law?!? Don t answer them tell them nothing and completely ignore them

I have had these before. Trying to get you to blame former employers for some (imaginary?) ailment. i will guess that they will end up trying to sell you a very expensive hearing aid but i didn t wait to find out.

Phonecall from local-ish number(Chesterfield) said it was Jenny from the Hearing Centre and that she understood I previously worked in a noisy environment. I said No and she promptly hung up - didn t get to ask whether she had the right person or where she got my number from. I use a different number for work yet this came on my personal mobile and so work related calls wouldn t call me on that. Probably Claims call
