got about 15 calls from this number, set it on my phone as " PPI BOLLOX" so i know who it is and dont answer

It’s a scam. Recorded voice saying it’s the (hahaha) National Crime Agency. Tossers

Someone with very poor grasp of english, call centre in the background. Said they were called Global Business Solutions, asking to speak to someone who hadn t lived at the address my phone number is listed at, for two years and who definitely doesn t need a debt reduction company as they have no debts that need reducing. Clearly using a very old cold-calling list that someone has sold them.

I keep getting calls from this number which I never answer. I think that if you answer or reply to calls from these people they will know that the number is live, and not only will they keep hassling you, but they will also sell your number to other rogue companies.

Caller says he represents some company. His english was poor, nor clear.

Automated PPI spam call

Called today saying it was EE. The lady I spoke to was extremely polite and friendly and offered me a ?6 discount a month on my home Broadband package PLUS 1500 minutes Anytime mobile minutes a month. I was paying ?6 a month more for landline calls only so a great saving. If you are a loyal EE customer I advise people to answer this call

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Coastal Windows cold calling. How in the world do these people get ex-directory numbers? Knew my name as well.

The person mumbled three tinmes down the phone at me when I asked who as calling then hung up on me. I have hearing problems and could not understand what they were saying.
