From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Caller introduced himself as "Lawrence from Microsoft". Cold call asking for a specific person at our company regarding Yahoo and Bing listings and their verification, allegedly. Claimed he would remove our listing on Yahoo/Bing when I said I wasn t interested! What a stupid threat and what an idiot. He eventually admitted he was from infosure. He didn t get what he called for but he certainly got what he deserved!
