THIS TEL. NO. 0208 064 1448 HAS CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES RECENTLY. SIRLUTE SHOWS ON MY PHONE AS THE CALLING COMPANY. I HAVE GOOGLED THIS NAME AND IT IS APPARENTLY A CHARITY. THE PERSON CALLING SAYS THEY ARE FROM A COMPUTER SECURITY/ANTI VIRUS COMPANY.

SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.

Scam. Woman's voice purporting to be from bank security informing me of two large withdrawals attempted on my card. Press 1 to cancel and 2 to speak to someone.

Fraud. Said I had two pending transactions on my Lloyds account, asking for personal details before I ended the call. Confirmed with Lloyds there were no problems or pending transactions on my account.

It's a fake and scamster number and they will do data theft from your mobile.

SCAM- first claimed to be HMRC then claimed to be life insurance.

SCAM - I received a call from this number. On answering, was an automated message saying that two transactions including one from Amazon had been attempted on my card. One for £300 and one for over a thousand pounds. Checking my bank shows no such attempts. This is a brazen attempt at Fraud.

Fraud. A person claiming they are calling form CarPhone. Trying to sell me a new mobile plan with 40% discount. They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. A dangerous fraud / scam call pretending to be from the UK HMRC. Automated American woman's voice telling me legal proceedings are underway against me and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. For many reasons, that's not how HMRC would operate.

Automated call ... Fraud 07477162171 - a badly recorded auto-voice informed me that the content of a form I've submitted to HMRC required investigation, and I should "Press 1" to speak to their team. So I hung up.
