Fraud Even the real HMRC would have to get up very early in the morning to catch me out (well about 10:30 am anyway) so these morons weren't exactly getting far. They then tried to get details off me saying id get knicked if i didn't to which i said "how does the inland revenue not even know my last name or address, or anything about me including my phone no. This is a high pressure sales caller purporting to be from a company called ESI, although I could find no details of them online. Their aim is to get people on good defined benefits pension schemes to sell out. They talk a good game, but this smells awfully like a scam outfit which is attempting to get people to transfer monies from safe defined benefits schemes to them, which is incredibly worrying. Your best bet if you receive a call from this number is to block it.
