I asked who referred him and stupidly said was it ........... and he said yes. should have just left it at who referred you. I typed the number in a search engine and thanks to others listing it was able to discover its Oxfam calling me on a daily basis. Have never answered call and no message is left. Will now add number to reject list as they are becoming a nuisance. We choose to give to charity and shouldn t feel pressured. That s not what its about.
Fraud. I was called by this number by someone pretending to be from Trend Micro internet security. he was foreign and said he wanted to give me a £299 refund. he then asked me to download a screen sharing software (anydesk.com). I refused and hung up, but he knew my name and email address.
