I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

Recorded message supposedly from national crime agency saying my n.i.number was being suspended! Definitely a SCAM.

Insurance scam say they are affiliate of know company. Told them I didn't want any and thanked them for their interest in me. They were still chundering on when I hung up.

Scam. Claiming to be from Microsoft about hackers accessing computer and installing dangerous software on it. Have your name and address (easily available from phone book) to add 'authenticity'. Had fun winding them up as obviously a scam. They just want access to your computer so don't engage with them.

told caller they had wrong number so they called me a fucking arse hold told me i had wrong number and they called me, gave me such nasty abuse and laughing, it was a man and i heavly pregnant and called company back but a load of indian people who dont understand or very dodgy company

I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. What! I told him I was an IT Consultant (truth) and he started telling me what to do. Several times I told him he was a scammer but he completely ignored me. Eventually after he told me a load of twaddle I told him I was too busy and terminated the call. This is not the first time this numb
