I need to know if these people are scammers I I answered the phone and the lady called and said that it is regarding an insurance taken out on a television Three years ago.
Indian chap claiming to be from the Credit Investigation Department about debts I had. I said I didn t have any debts. He said bye & I laughed down the phone. Next time I ll order a curry.
Didn't even answer but they've been ringing 3 or 4 times a day, starting at 7am

Press 1 to speak to the case officer (not going to happen!) or a warrant for my arrest would be issued if the call was not connected (yeah right!). Called our company asking for the branch manager to carry out a survey on energy contracts & customer satisfaction. Told him it s all decided through head office so our branch manager wouldn t deal with it. He then asked if he could call back at a more convenient time, (obviously didn t listen to a word i d just told him!) at which point i told him no he couldn t call back at a more convenient time, no thank you & hung up on him. Logged him on our nuisance call list to be blocked by our telecoms company

18 Oct 2021 - Fraud, claims to be HMRC and threatens suspension of national insurance number, is spoofed from one of the numbers from bristol county court (council civil court not a magistrates court as far as I am aware but maybe I'm wrong), it is not a number for any of the normal departments but instead it is for the Listings department. 1000% scammers committing the worst kind of fraud.Reply
