received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.

HSBC- sent me a text stating that a new device had registered onto my account, with a link to a website, I did not click on the link as I do not have nor has anyone else within my close family had an account with this bank, as I did not click on the link I am unaware to possibility of the link being harmful, all I will say, if you do not have an account with this bank and do get a text like myself do not click onto it, there is a high possibility it could be a scam, or a general mistake on the banks behalf

This number sent text saying Royal Mail parcel was waiting for redelivery and that there was £1.99 to pay. There was a link below. I believe this is a scam text trying to get money, we are not expecting a parcel and even if we were, where would they get a mobile number from for someone who hasn't given Royal Mail their number?

Cold/silent call, heard call centre noise then call dropped. Dialled 1471 but was queued for a while and the call terminated and not responded to TWICE

Very shouty, very aggressive refused to give any information about his business, just said I was expected to give him money. I was REQUIRED to give him money.

Call received 10.31 hours on Wednesday, 23rd June 2017. No message received, so I didn t pick up the phone. I don t recognise this number and don t want to speculate with no further information. Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.
Was called today by this company at 7.50am. Never heard of them. Only answered the call as I thought it was the paper shop about my delivery! Told them to ..... off! A man claimed to work for bitcoin.com and said that I'd signed up to make money online. I've been called over 20 times a day from people who claim to be from some financial company for the past 2 weeks (they make up a new name each time). Numbers probably spoofed but tend to start 0161768, 0161818 , 0113301 or 0113868. Normally decline and block but have answered a couple to ask them to stop. This one swore at me when I asked.
