I was called from this number, I didn't answer, it didn't ring for long, suspect scam as I don't have any contacts in Birmingham area

When call back automated saying this number is not valid check the number and dial again. Wtf.

Scam about washing machine insurance - has renewed already so got suspicious when asked for bank account details!! Offered a discount too. Quite believable at first as they had my name and address but no info re type of washing machine. Beware. 4ujom

Some woman rang me using this number and said that could make a claim from being in a car accident. I never had a car accident but didn t let her know that I just questioned who it was calling and they hung up.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Accident cold call when challenged they hung up

Keeps calling. I answered them a couple of weeks ago. "Survey" call. Told them to take us off the list and not to call again. This has had no effect and they are still calling at least twice a day

Partner answered my mobile. The person on the end of the phone knew my name but hung up. Tried to call the number back but number not recognised.

Two calls received within 24 hours from male with Indian/Asian accent and female with American accent. Both told me that they had information that showed that I had had a no fault accident within the last 2 years. They were obviously reading from a script, refused to tell me where they had got my name, phone number or the accident information from. I told them what I thought of them and they hung up ! Will report it to TPS and ico.org.uk

Don t pick up the call - or if you already did, just end the call, don t press any keys - and if they ve left you an intimidating voicemail DON T call them back. Don t worry, there will be NO legal consequences, there is NO arrest warrant, these bullies are just trying to scare you.
