SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. scam - automated call suggesting issue with my national insurance number
simply rings off when our answer machine picks up the call. This happens several times a day.
Call received 10.31 hours on Wednesday, 23rd June 2017. No message received, so I didn t pick up the phone. I don t recognise this number and don t want to speculate with no further information. Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.
