These people are phoning me from 8.30am until late at night, asking if im me and going through security questions to verify who i am. I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. They call and try to sell me a warranty for washing machine, I think it´s a scam because mi washing machine is very old. At the beginning they ask for a survey but later they tried sell a warranty. I don´t want buy a breakdown cover, but they keep call every day.

Received unsolicited calls from 0114 319 0673 even though I m signed up to the telephone preference service. Looks like they are faking their outgoing number which means they must be scammers. Don t bother answering or calling back.

0141 428 3388 getting tired of them calling me four to ten times a day phoned back on chance of speaking to someone after searching number and find no company name for phone number. bloke called robert answered asked for personal details which i refused without know who they were, he refused to give a reason for not telling me what kind of company he works for.

These are both premium-rate, non-geographic numbers, and if they have called you, probably spoofed anyway - they tend to be used for TV/radio phone-in competitions.

This number called my mobile and I returned the call from my landline and withheld my number. They said that they had in fact received a call from this number (I withheld the number) I found this strange that someone was in my house and called them, must have been my dog that called her?!? She said was it to do with gas? I think this is a scam telephone number.

It s a well known scam. Don t bother calling them back. The number might appear to be normal geographic but they might have rigged it to charge you premium rate.
