My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. Someone rang from that number claiming to be from Natwest but my mum was sceptical so she rung off and called me. I looked up a real number for Natwest (0800 011 3312) which she rang. I had this company first phone me for a Tv license debt which was paid and now a paypal debt which I was scammed from and paypal has not helped me at all! I suspect they re genuine however I don t know a lot about them

This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

General opinion seems to be that it is Tesco. I don`t shop with them and have none of their other products/services, so not sure why they phoned

As above the caller said they were from HMRC , This is your last chance, serious consequences , ring back immediately, if not legal proceedings will commence.

Called and hung up when phone answered will block the number.
