I have been plagued by similar calls in recent times, and as my landline is quite new, only a handful of people actually have been given this number, therefore any unsolicited calls are clearly SCAMS

SCAM, automated voice saying we have received two transactions on your bank account, funny how it’s always a payment to Amazon and an international bank transfer, for same amounts as last four times they’ve called. TOTAL SCAMMERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO BLOCK.

A voice said he was James from Relief Energy who said; "I've been trying to call you for a few days now, actually." Well, nobody has been trying to call me when I was at home, and as I check my phone whenever I've been out, then I know for sure that it's nonsense so I just hung up. SCAM Automated call on 10/7/23 at about 10am. Message said from Barclays fraud dept, payment of £800 pound to American on-line gambling noticed on visa account, press button 1 if not me. Thought it was a scam as bank wouldn't send automated call, phoned bank on their known number, bank said not on my visa account scam.
