It's 06 Vauxhall, they've been calling incessantly to try and get me to book my service and MOT with them.

Phone rang, I answered. I could hear noise in background. Then it cut off after 15 to 20 seconds

Calling at 8.40pm. Had a number of calls over the past 2 weeks. Said we ve registered for TPS, asked them to remove our number and they still call. The foreign person on the other end refuses to tell me their company name. I got annoyed and told him where to go and hung up only to be called 2 minutes later telling me I m not a nice person!

My mum received a call at 9.00pm on Tuesday from an aggressive foreign man wanting to talk to her about the car accident she had had. He was a fraudster and a scammer and because my mum did not know that such people existed she asked him what accident he was talking about and proceeded to tell him about an accident that I had had last year and one that my mum and dad had had about ten years ago. Now he won t stop calling her and that night he scared her by saying he would be round first thing in the morning

Cold calling is never a good thing. No company/salesman should have the right. And anyone giving them info for a quote deserves their bank accounts emptying.

Called saying about car accident in last three years, asked if anyone else at my addreas had an accident in last three years, didnt have any personal details as to refer to and kept repeating from a script so much that almost sounded automated. Told them to remove my number and they are now blocked.

Received an uninvited call to my landline number, claiming to be conducting a health survey on behalf of the UK Government. The health questions didn t concern me but the depth of personal info requested did. I now regret giving so much info away (including name, address, age, no of adults and children), which I might not have done with an email survey. Caller claimed to be fron accident investigation unit and wanted to know about an accident to someone on my phone number. When asked where he got the information he said the road safety authority. This is an authority in Ireland dealing with Irish roads. I an in England!!

Be careful. This is a local number to my area but they are the usual scammers pretending to be from TalkTalk. I suspect they are hiding their real contact number.

A call at lunchtime. When I answered, nobody there!!

I had a phone call from this number on my mobile. It was a recorded message saying that the message was from HM revenue and that my name is involved with a fraud investigation. It then went on to say that I had to press 1 to find out what to do next and if I didn’t then a warrant would be issued. At this point I hung up on them.

Rings, I answer, then silence.

Caller claims to be from Openreach Titan telling us we are going to benefit from cheaper rates. When I asked for marketing material to be sent to me instead they went into panic overload! I believe this company to be cold calling with a view to trying to get you switch provider and possibly reduce your call costs.

Just coming back about the second number given in previous post - 002220 88199804. I asked the lady on the phone for the location of this number, she told me it was central London. Just to let you all know, Country code 002220 is Gambia!
