When they rang me I told them I HAD been in an accident, but it was my fault and I caused the death of 4 people. They stammered a bit then I asked them could they help me with this! They hung up.

I was getting calls daily from 01782401123 which I ignored. Research showed it was Advantis a know Telephone pest. They are now trying new tactics with thier new number 08448241820. If I have a debt, which I dont, then write to me, oh i forgot you cant because I dont answer the phone and give you any details. Advantis you can do one will be reporting this number as I have done with the other to ICO and Ofcom.

Thanks to all this information listed here and on other sites I will not be persuing any further claim with this company They are due to call me back tomorrow to take my detail...

Got call this morning at 10.33 . Did nt answer it as I suspected as much. TPS needs to get their finger out and sort firms like this out. "Pevert the course of Justice offence?" Sad bit is it ll be a UK law firm who are most likely bank rolling it.

I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. This number rang my 84 year old mother and told her that her boiler warranty is about to run out (her boiler is very old and as far as she knows she s never had a warranty on it.) They persuaded her to sign up for a new warranty and she gave her bank card details. I m going to take her to the bank tomorrow to find out how much they took from her card. Answered the phone and upon saying "hello" the caller hung up. I have now blocked the number.

scam number left voice mail saying that someone has been trying to transfer money from my account and i should press this number or that number does not even name my bank

Answered as wasn't looking at who was calling so ignored the silence on the other end and hung up. Junk marketing probably
