Nuisance call from a supposed law firm relating to a collision which never occurred. Hung up when I started to ask questions.

Had a call from an Indian man pretending to be a debt collector calling on behalf of an ex employer. But my ex employer did not know anything about this. Obviously a scam. Beware!

Electronic voice warned me that my TalkTalk internet would be disconected this evening and gave me the option to either press 1 to keep it or 2 to disconnect. Goodness knows what would have happened if I had pressed either number. I logged in to TalkTalk and of course there was no mention of a disconnection.

Caller asked about a withdrawal from my bank account

Missed the call but its an obvious suspect number. Voicemail sounded like a busy call centre in the background. Blocked it either way.

Disgusting!!

Male called and said I owed money on a NEWDAY credit card linked to my amazon account. I had taken the offer of getting a card via getting a 20% discount on an item but never activated the card. He reeled of items purchased for certain dates. Funny enough, all those payments had already come out of my own Visa card not theirs. Also, the only card visible for payments on my amazon account is my own. And the call was promptly ended.... BE AWARE AND DO NOT GET ROPED IN!!!

Asian accented lady calling re a ?50 Morrisons Voucher win. When I said I hadn?t entered a completion she said it wasn?t a win more of a customer loyalty gift. I said I didn?t shop at Morrisons. She said it was actually Tesco. I realised it was a scam and hung up.

My number is not listed and they called my land line AND mobile! Apparently they sent me a letter, but wanted me to confirm my address. I never got anything and had never heard of them before! I told them on both occassions - they called withing 5 minutes on both lines - to take me complete details off their list and stop harrassing me or I would call the authoroties. On my question what it was about why they called they didn t answer. SCAM! They had my name.

Indian women with family noise in background did not introduce herself and said "your computer department". Well we don t have a computer dept so told her to [email?protected] off. The people are no more than common thieves, but seem above the law.

Automated caller stating that my internet was to be disconnected as it had been compromised in several countries. I was advised to press 1 to be connected to an advisor who would then help me to change my IP provider ! This is not the first time I have had a call like this but from 2 different numbers.On the first occasion I ignored it and contacted my provider on that occasion who told me that it was a scam. I m sure this is one also.

Indian callers claim to be from windows.they will tell you your computer has been sending them error reports.they then ask you to turn your computer on and then tell you how to fix the problem.they get you to switch on remote access.then they control your computer and have access to all bank,credit card and password details that have been entered.NEVER DO THIS !!! please report to your local police

Rang and after one ring it stopped. I suspect this number is being used to ring numbers to identify if they are in use. Every number that it successfully rings at least once is then added to a list to sell to scum bags for dodgy telemarketing purposes. Utter scum. Block it if you can.
