From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.

This number caller is a pain. Only answered once told them never been in accident but they still call at least 3 times a day. So how John who works for this firm can say "we don,t bother people again if there are not interested" obviously doesn,t know the concept of not interested ,dont call again.Dont answer. I received a call from a chap who called himself Brady, from the Nuisance Calls Prevention Service in Brighton at 6.05pm on 26th February 2015. He told me that he was aware that I was receiving a high ratio of nuisance calls and that he was going to stop them for me... all good up to this point! He then went on to say that for ?2 per month the calls would be stopped!!!! Definitely a scammer, but what worries me is that he knew my name and ex-directory telephone number.

Claimed to be from British Telecom. I put the receiver down. He immediately rang again and let it ring for a very long time.when I didn't answer.
Date 16-12-19 10-40 am. Automated call said he was from BT. Wanted me 2 press button 1 to get technical help. Claimed my broadband would shut down. I did Not cll back as I could hav been charged money. Looks like a scam to me.

28 Dec 2021 - Claimed to be offering some phone deal (hard to tell exactly what, through thick Indian accent). I repeatedly challenged him on not having checked my number against Telephone Preference Service "do not call" list, and eventually he apologised and hung up. Reply
