Had a few calls from this number over the past month. Decided to answer today and a foreign sounding female asked me if I d worked in a noisy factory as they could help me claim compensation for hearing loss! Said no I hadn t and she put the phone down on me. Nuisance call.

Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.

Called twice today, 2nd time answered: asked for my partner by name & claimed to be from People's Energy who are our energy supplier and are based in Edinburgh so that matches the area code (0131). My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. A man with a foreign sounding voice but very english name called.Told me he was from microsoft.Have had these calls from another number (01225766466) but the difference being that this one had our name.He could not pronounce it but was able to spell it when i asked, strange because it is simple name and only 5 letters.When i asked how he got the name he hung up.I believe its the same people as the other number.I had such a shouting match with them on the phone last week,i think they have changed tactics !

There is a National Insurance scam which seems to be using numbers starting 0777151. It calls you on your 0777151..... number then uses your number as a mask to call other people so they believe you called them. Quite annoying.

i have has several calls a day in the last couple of weeks from this "company" asking for someone ive never heard of,my landline is ex directory,when told this they say its the number they have been given for contact by this person,ive told them they are wrong,go check the address they have for this person,then check the electoral role for who lives at my address,,they replied with"we have no address for the client as it was done online,,what utter rubbish,ive had enough and im losing patience

Yet another fake “I’ve been told you were involved in a car accident that wasn’t your fault” call. The pre-recorded female voice - it is always the same voice so clearly they are the same single outfit - said she was Amelia Grant from “In Drive Expert Advisors”, which is an odd name, and as ever, when automatically transferred to the real human they rang off very quickly when asked questions. Lots of these con merchants around - be careful.

called where i work this morning. Really rude man on the line telling me he wants to find hidden commission in our utility bills. when i said our accountants are on with doing it he cut me off and said they wont be getting what he can get us. would hardly let me speak and when i could he corrected me every time although i was repeating what he had said. in the end he said "what a rude person" and hung up. dont answer to them it will be scam.
