Tried to claim I had an outstanding vehicle tax refund from an overpayment, followed by a request to visit a "secure" link. I do not own a vehicle regarding a tax payment and when I tried to reply about the matter it failed. Usually (if it is an official company) it displays the company's name, but this was just some random number's message acting as though I knew exactly what the subject was about. Automated voice saying they are HMRC and they have a tax case against me so press 1 or they will shortly arrest me. I put the phone down and I’m still waiting to be arrested. Bit inconvenient waiting in.... I’ve shopping to do.

I’ve just had this call this morning threatening me with a court case it was an American accent too.. number blocked also had the same one from a different number in Birmingham

Unsolicited call - hung up after a short period without speaking. Other searches for this number indicate it may be related to Loft Insulation sales. Unable to do a return call. It's now blocked.
Fraud - message left by them was read by a computerised male American voice that said I had to call the local city hall urgently. Not sure why. However phone number is very similar to (0)20 3991 2845 which is a Fraud HMRC call.
