I rang back hiding my number, when put through, I was told my details had been passed to them from national database, and that I had been involved in a road collision. I told her she didn t know who I was, but insisted my phone number was displayed and matched to the database. Obviously from the outset this is just a cold call hoping who ever answers has been involved in some kind of accident
Scam Recorded message saying that a £600 transaction from a foreign country had been blocked by "your bank" the message did not name a specific bank. It was also a requirement for me to press 1 to discuss, which I didn't. The call dropped after 20 seconds. I have checked my banking and no such transaction appears to have taken place. Be careful out there people.

As soon as I answered they disconnected. Call back tells you it is an incorrect number. Blocked it.
SCAM - Recorded message telling me that "My Bank" has transferred £600 from my account into a foreign account using Access/Visa, press 1 to stop the transaction. Please don't press any buttons, just hang up.

Claims to be from HMRC - Says you have a tax refund ready to claim.
TAX Automated call advising they were HMRC and that I was involved in a tax fraud allegation by them. Told to press 1 to speak to HMRC. Told if I did not, a warrant would be issued for my arrest which would happen imminently!
