Silent call Silent call, 0153 dialing code. 01530327117. We have had 4 calls today supposedly from Amazon Prime, all from different numbers, but with 0153 dialing code. Recorded female voice. Something about being charged £79.99, and pressing 1 to speak to a service manager. We don't have Amazon Prime. We are ex directory, and with TPS.
What a joke they just ring back all the time NEVER USE THEM!

SCAM - call to try to insist you go to a website to become a stocks and trading pro. Caller would not desist the call, was repeatedly told the call was not welcome - standard response was to repeat that I was unable to decline or have an opinion as he had not told me all about his product and had not yet been to his website.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. I received a call from 02039587974 telling me they are calling from London County Court and that I have had a tax fraud case against me. They asked if I was able to make a £1198.00 payment so prevent my car being seized and sending the police out, whilst I was on the phone they tried to convince me they are calling from London Central count and asked me to google the number and rang me from the same central London county court number to assure me.
