Called 3 times this week so I called them from blocked number they said they were calling due to accident I d been in. I told them i don t own car or even have a licence (which is true) they said not even as a passenger, told them No. They apologised and said they update system. Rang and after one ring it stopped. I suspect this number is being used to ring numbers to identify if they are in use. Every number that it successfully rings at least once is then added to a list to sell to scum bags for dodgy telemarketing purposes. Utter scum. Block it if you can.

Latest release - Luke Ballantyne was listed as a Director of HML Consultants but resigned in November 2019, with Sarah Aldrige appointed as a Director in the same month. Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609. There are a few postings already online indicating this is a further scam. When they call they imply you already have extended warranty cover with them and are asking

Never heard of them before today. Auto-called my mobile, asking for a Kerry Luxton. Never heard of her, ever, but other firms have also used that name. My mobile number was brand new when I got it, and hasn t been used by anyone previous to that. Anyone using an automated dialling service can **** right off, in my world, and am therefore glad to have added their number to my mobile s blocked list!

Had a call from a rude obnoxious caller suggesting I could claim compensation for a non existing RTA Read elsewhere the ripoff cost of calling them to complain.
Purporting to be from National Savings and Investments. The text said I had won the March draw. I don't have any investments with NS&I.

Pretended they were TSB, and that someone tried to take out 250 to pay Apple, they put the transaction on hold and now need to generate me a new card, new sort code and new account number. Called him out on it by saying will visit branch to sort out as never heard of anyone changing a sort code before...I am guessing he would have asked me to verify all those details in order to change them. Scam, scam, scam as soon as I said that he hung up.
