One person called (speaking in Urdu) on my business phone number and asked for the owner of the business, I said call in the morning, the person asked for the owner's name, I said I can't give you the name, call in the morning. Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.
SCAM / SPAM Received a call on my mobile. Apparently (according to the recorded message, not a real person talking) there is a warrant registered with HMRC against my name for fraud, and if I don't press 1 to connect to an operator, I will be arrested shortly. This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass.
