This Green Energy Advisory service have been calling umpteenth times. I was asked how I was today and told the bloke I wasn t happy they were calling again even after having asked them to take their number off their list. I then got shouted at, at which point I put the phone down.

They call leaving voicemails saying ‘this is not a marketing call, please call back’ I’ve also had texts asking to call back quoting the following reference number...which is different every time. And the name they use to address me via text spells both my first and last name wrong (not just one letter wrong, almost incoherently wrong!) so I will be blocking these obvious scammers!

Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

I don t answer any of these numbers as I recognise the code but these people keep ringing me on my work number and I work for a bank! Not sure where they get their data from but doubt it s legit and they certainly haven t done their research first!

Another number to avoid from a call centre. Asked for me by name even although it was my business line they called.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Scam tried to access my mobile account text was sent and asked to read it. Contacted my phone provider and was told it is a scam
Rehan Ali was recommended and everything went through smoothly. I did get confused with accessing my account as I tried to do it through British Gas online, who kept saying they did not have a record of me, eventually I twigged that I access the account through Britishgaslite.co.uk not British Gas. We are now waiting for a smart meter to be fitted. I have been given a date and a time rather than a day or half day slot, I just need to see if they turn up, but so far 5 star rating.
