Received a call from this number (01204 938584), today. Phone rang for short-time, then ended, abruptly. Somewhat unusual, so I blocked it. Perhaps you should do the same.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

Had phone call from this company, said they were Provential Helpline or something along those lines. Some stupid girl apparently called Emma Macintosh trying to get details about an accident that never happened.

This caller pretends to be from BT accounts department offering a refund on your account. When I challenged them and told them that the number is most definitely not BT accounts they hung up. Do not give them any information- hang up immediately

I m not sure why people are saying the are scammers pretending to be EE, the number is on their actual site as one of their direct partner numbers. However I still would not recommend picking up as EE broadband has terrible service. My advice is head for the hills and don t look back.
