I was called this morning by a lady saying that she is from the pension office. She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. I asked her to write me an email, however she said they would not work like this. By this time I thanked her and said good bye. Not serious at all! A call from this number that was a recorded message. It was an Amazon payment scam call. I called back and got a reply. I tried to tell the man who answered that I thought his number was hijacked by scammers. He hung up probably thinking I was the scammer.

Received unsolicited calls from 0114 319 0673 even though I m signed up to the telephone preference service. Looks like they are faking their outgoing number which means they must be scammers. Don t bother answering or calling back.
Missed phone call
Called yesterday and asked for "Les" to which we said it was a wrong number. They called back 4 times that day. One the last call they said "has nobody spoken to you about insurance?" Then today they ve called twice but we put the phone straight down.

A man claimed to work for bitcoin.com and said that I'd signed up to make money online. I've been called over 20 times a day from people who claim to be from some financial company for the past 2 weeks (they make up a new name each time). Numbers probably spoofed but tend to start 0161768, 0161818 , 0113301 or 0113868. Normally decline and block but have answered a couple to ask them to stop. This one swore at me when I asked.

HSBC- sent me a text stating that a new device had registered onto my account, with a link to a website, I did not click on the link as I do not have nor has anyone else within my close family had an account with this bank, as I did not click on the link I am unaware to possibility of the link being harmful, all I will say, if you do not have an account with this bank and do get a text like myself do not click onto it, there is a high possibility it could be a scam, or a general mistake on the banks behalf
I received a call from this number saying they where International Wine. Said I had filled in a survey 18 months ago. When told was not interested the women just hung up. 1471 gave me the number so I rang back, got the say woman, told her how rude she had been and my number to be taken from their list. I them received a further 5 calls with no one answering, informed them the number would be reported.
