a lot of calls from numbers which start like this. trying to sell me a phone which I dont need, simply they are after bank details. sadly its difficult to block as they are using a system which uses different number endings.

Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

This number has been "Spoofed" as there is no business in Neath where this number is based which is a lawyers etc. The number is being used by an overseas call centre to generate leads. DO NOT ANSWER OR DISCUSS AS THIS WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE!!!! You will get further calls as they pass your number on as a "live" number.

This very rude man calls twice a day.He knows my name and insists I ve been mis sold PPI. I ve told him I am not interested and to remove my name and number. He talks over what I m saying and has continued to ring even when I don t say anything. Now I am going to get one of those screech alarms and the next time he rings he ll know I m serious about not wanting to talk to him.
HMRC fraud. Computer generated voice tells that they are the HMRC and that there is a fraud case in my name, if I don't press 1 to get connected to an advisor an arrest warrant will be issued. Very unimaginative scare tactic, very obvious that they will try to defraud people. Didn't have the time and couldn't be bothered messing with them, so just hung up.
