Apparently carphone warehouse from someone selling your data to them. Make a point of asking to speak with their legal dept, they won't pass you through but they'll remove you from the calling list pretty quickly.
they called and when I called number was put through to Legal claims when woman answered. I told her in no uncertain terms I did not require their calls or services and asked to be taken off their list. She informed me it was her only job. Does that give them rights to annoy people

Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. What! I told him I was an IT Consultant (truth) and he started telling me what to do. Several times I told him he was a scammer but he completely ignored me. SCAM Tel No. 07824378626 used to identify a hoax call from Amazon about a £300 odd payment. Similar calls received from other 07... numbers in recent weeks. These calls always follow on from use of Amazon for on-line purchases. This suggests that account activities with Amazon are not properly secure and that scammers monitor recent activity.
