I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. My property was repossessed in 2010, by the bank who then put touchstone in charge and they let the property through an estate agent, during this time someone they let the property too ran up a bill with Scottish power. Caller claimed to be fron accident investigation unit and wanted to know about an accident to someone on my phone number. When asked where he got the information he said the road safety authority. This is an authority in Ireland dealing with Irish roads. I an in England!!
Seems to be scam for sure. After they dialled I’ve had my number spoofed.
Automated voice call claiming to be from HMRC, even giving a name of an HMRC office (Dennis something). Warns not to ignore this and call back. HMRC do not operate in this way, this is a SCAM call.
As there was a delay in them answering, I knew this was a scam call. I hung up immediately

Called saying they were my energy supplier and wanted me to renew on the telephone. They are not an energy company and are trying scare tactics with the current situation regarding the energy crisis. Ignore, delete, do not give them any of your information, do not agree to anything. They record your calls also so be careful.
