Appears to be scam call from somebody with Asian accent pretending to be from BT offering to improve internet connection and security, wants to know if you are using a 'smart' device at home (e.g. laptop, ipad, phone) but not interested in 'helping' if it is not a personal 'smart' device.

They wanted to "unlock the money" in my pension. Huh? Scam.
Caller claimed to be from "my network" - his accent was difficult to understand, so I failed to hear what the network was. I terminated the call and blocked the number. Clearly a scam!

This number has been "Spoofed" as there is no business in Neath where this number is based which is a lawyers etc. The number is being used by an overseas call centre to generate leads. No idea which company, or who is behind it. missed 2 calls so far when ringing back it will answer with an american text to speech voice and play music while it connects you to whoever. waited and waited and then the phone hung up automatically. Unsure if this is a scam or just a neauseunce.

I ve just had a call from them telling me my "google listing was about to go live for the next 12 months" so I asked what on earth they were talking about, at which point they hung up.

This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. This is a Somerset Highways telephone number. If you have made a comment, or complaint, about a road or pavement, either by email, letter or telephone, this is the generic telephone number they will call you back on. They did telephone me back later the same day. No good trying to call them back, it is not a manned line.

SCAM Call starts with an automated message telling you that there is an arrest warrant out for you for underpaid tax and tax fraud. Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!
