trying to steal bank details through a covid scam
SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

Received 2 consecutive calls from this number middle of the night at 2.21 a.m. and then 2.23 a.m. Both times rung 3 tines then stopped.

Scam calls, usually related to Crypto. These people have been harassing me for over a year due to the previous owner of my phone number having filled out an inquiry on their website. They call from numbers generated in the UK and across Europe/Asia. The number is not in service when you try to call it back.

Call received 14.30 on 17/4/2023. Recorded message purporting to come from a bank fraud prevention team (no bank named) alleging that two suspicious requests had been received for payments from "your account" (no account details given). No evidence of unexpected activity in my accounts. SPAM.

Called using my name and asked about a website domain apparently registered to me, without giving any details of who they were. Ended the call immediately.
This number calls me once a day every day every time I answer it hangs up now I don't bother trying to answer it I let it ring now it is just ringing to us and hanging up but it will still ring me every day this is a nuisance and it is harassing me! I have already blocked one number and now it's this one

This is a scam pretending to be an Amazon call centre as they had our email and then changed our Amazon account password, that generated an email to us with an OTD code. The scammer then wanted us to give him that code so they could take over the account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THAT CODE AND HANG UP THE CALL AND BLOCK THE NUMBER

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. Suspecting fake supplier. We contacted him through a vacation rentals' booking platform to book a villa on the 5th of February in order to book for the 10th. On the 6th he writes to us: "Hello, unfortunately we can't accommodate you because the villa was double booked." This is so unfair! The availability back then allowed to book the property with no problems. He hasn't even refunded us the money. We suspect a scam owner.

Scammers preying on the elderly and vulnerable
Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.
