I think this is a scam number aiming to talk the vulnerable (ie people with debts) into giving out their bank details. I terminated the call as soon as they mentioned debts/creditors

They just called me this afternoon which I ignored but found info on other sites so I phoned them and have confirmed who they are. The company is called Mark Group . They are a company that specialise in cavity wall insulation and solar panels. They are based in Ashford, Kent. They did some insulation work for me just under a year ago, very quick & very good, but not sure on the "cold calling" front.

unhelpful, rude, annoying, unsolicited calls to number(s) already registered with TPS (I ve escalated a formal complaint via TPS). Phoned my mobile twice in 45 minutes, so it must have been important that they contact me, but they never left a voicemail which makes me think it must be a scam company cold calling. Yes, cold calling as I never ask companies to contact me.

These are both premium-rate, non-geographic numbers, and if they have called you, probably spoofed anyway - they tend to be used for TV/radio phone-in competitions.

Call received 10.31 hours on Wednesday, 23rd June 2017. No message received, so I didn t pick up the phone. I don t recognise this number and don t want to speculate with no further information. Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.

received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.
