Keeps ringing several times each week. I know its telemarketing as it only rings a couple of times before cutting off! Why can t the telecomms authorities DO something about these "sons of a thousand fathers"?
Apparently carphone warehouse from someone selling your data to them. Make a point of asking to speak with their legal dept, they won't pass you through but they'll remove you from the calling list pretty quickly.

Again lady new my name called, lots of background noise, killed call.
From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.

These are a pest but all they can do is ring up or send you a letter if you speak to them admid nothing just answer with you rang me when they ask for details there a debt collecter with no clout they cant come to your property as they are Not high court enforcement officers or agents.
A recorded voice said something about £200 and to press ...and they would....if no response from me. It had been marked as suspicious. I ignored it.
highly intelligent scam. claimed to be offering me insurance for just over £300. asked be to look through bank statements and said they would send be information through the post. didn't fall for it. avoid at all costs

Although polite enough, I was polite on BOTH occasions they called, 2.30pm and 19.33. Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour
