Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

It would seem that there are that many scam numbers that the good ones unfortunately are getting tarred with the same brush. Lovely peoplewho helped me sort out compensation for industrial deafness.

Have been receiving silent calls for a few weeks, then just now received a call from this number. Asian man claiming to be from an accident claim company. Said my car had been in a bump (his word) and that I may not have reported it because it was small. I said are you telling me my car was in an accident? (Interesting since I don t own a car! Had a missed call. Called them back. It was a computer generated message that tells me the break down cover on my set top box is due to renew. But no details on who the caller is to tell if this is fake or not.
