Fraud - Suggesting they were from BT regarding my broadband. I have been having problems with it but I’m aware of phony callers pretending to be providers - BT not any of the other providers would call you out of the blue so they hung up on me lol - thought you were supposed to be helping me with an issue? please be aware of this spam. They said I had ordered a removal van and were calling to arrange one for me. It ties into several hoax calls I received last week as all the callers were sub Asians.
SCAM NHL - ? What did these letters even stand for? Leicester regarding a hospital appointment which I dont have. I don't live in that area either and they ask you to call back to cancel the appointment if its wrong..this is a cell number not an official NHS number.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.

SCAM - home appliance washing machine. Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.

Claims to be calling from Virgin Media, when challenged (I'm on TPS, I'm not in a Virgin cable area, etc) they hang up. Same outfit call three or four times a day, always from a different spoofed number.

This company reported to be Heating Services, claims to act on behalf of British Gas Homecare and deals with all their support services. They rang to say they are reducing the cost of my homecare cover and including plumbing and electricity repairs. All I need to do is amend my Direct Debit. This is a company scamming customers as they had all me details.
