This number is a Scam, they called to me to say I had traffic accident which was not my fault but I didn't have any accident at all. When I told them it's impossible they just hung up
This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.

Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. AMAZON A lady with an Indian accent said she was from amazon and was calling about my prime account being charged and did I want my money back. I told her I didn't have a prime account. She said if I switch on my computer she will show me. I said why should I switch on my computer to find something that I don't have. She was rude and insistent.

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

No ring, no answer, immediately terminateed (not by me) The only possible reason for this nuisance call is to check my number is active, which the operator does not need to do, no one else has a valid reason to. Any legitamate reason to verify a phone number would include verification of the recipient, and that's unlikely because of fraud.

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.
