I received a call from this number with an automated message saying that this was regarding some important information about my account. They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Seems to me like they want to get people to react out of panic because of the word "account". I didn t return any calls or anything, so they kept pestering me and now they are blocked. They phoned just after 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, just as I was settling into the Six Nations rugby. Told them that my advice to them would be to leave me alone.
This number called me on my mobile number twice but they did not leave any voicemail messages.

This is a call from Snappr.crom (photography services). Annoying as I didn't allow them to contact me via phone, but I did give email a couple days ago, so it's not obviously a scam call.
Dangerous scammers pretending to be from HMRC, threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless they get an instant payment! Don t pick up the call - or if you already did, just end the call, don t press any keys - and if they ve left you an intimidating voicemail DON T call them back. Don t worry, there will be NO legal consequences, there is NO arrest warrant, these bullies are just trying to scare you.

Just had a call from this number 001-979-823-4079. Guy with poor english said the files on my Windows computer were infected by a download of infected files. Wanted to speak to the owner of the PC. After stringing him along for a while I told him to get lost as it was a scam. He hung up.
Recorded message purporting to be HMRC asking me to urgently call this number, and threatening legal action. From the comments above about this number, I will not be calling them.
