SCAM / SPAM It was an automated phone call saying it was HMRC that there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion and I had to press 1 to talk to someone, otherwise I would be arrested immediately. Total scam, Google HMRC automated call and the top result is that it is a confirmed scam and you should end the call immediately.

SCAM / SPAM Said from Domestic and General. Offered me extended warranty at discounted price on appliance already covered with them. Asked for my card details which D&G already have. I declined. Contacted D&G who confirmed they had not contacted me.
Had a call from this number purporting to be an automated call from Amazon but when I rang back it turned out to be a private number who did not know why people were ringing him back!
