This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.
I know it's Manchester located but don't know it belongs to.
They have rang me twice saying that they were from a mortgage company and wanted to speak to peter griffin from family guy then I asked him to delete my number and he kept asking

I received a phone call from this number. I know nobody who lives in London. When I said hello and asked who I am speaking to, nobody replied and they stated on the line for a few seconds before ending the call.
