Had 2 calls today. Didn't answer as didn't recognise the number
SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

Scam line. Calls are made from outside of the UK (Gold Coast), trying to get recipients to visit a scam website. The caller gets the recipient to perform some tasks on their PC, claiming that it is infected. If you ask for their number, they provide this one. If you call them back you are diverted to the caller in the Gold Coast. Do not call. Do not respond. Report this to the police.
SCAM saying they are Three Network asking to update my details as my bill was not processed. Do not click on the link. I have checked with Three they do not send texts like that.

I received two calls from them yesterday, they hung up.....got a call today, picked it up immediately and a chap said he was from Ideal World....having seen the comments here he asked to speak to me. I said "hold the line, I ll get her for you" Then left him hanging on for 15 mins.....went back, he was still there, I said "hold on I ll get her for you" left him another 15 mins...then I hung up hahhhhaa......if you don t put the phone down, they can t use the phone until you do apparently?

They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Claims he is calling from a company called Assist Co, government backed, claiming that he can make me "debt free". When I asked how didn t he know that I may already be debt free, he said this is why he was calling! Told him I wasn t interested and added this number to my rejected calls list. Asked his where he got my details from, just kept on repeating that he was government backed. Cannot find any info relating to Assist Co on Google

Call every day trying to chase up unknown debt that I ve never heard of! Seems like a scam to me. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS ANY BANK DETAILS WHATSOEVER! They ll trick you into thinking you owe some made up company some money.

SCAM / SPAM 0203 468 5940 is more than likely a scammer . Male with Scottish Accent phoned asking if I had enquired about an Isa. I have not spoken or electronically enquired about an Isa in years. So a cold caller which I had thought was now illegal. Bad vibes. Don't divulge any details. He was pleasant enough but that in itself is a trick of the trade, and he as all scammers are thinking about there next bite. BEWARE.
