This number rang my 84 year old mother and told her that her boiler warranty is about to run out (her boiler is very old and as far as she knows she s never had a warranty on it.) They persuaded her to sign up for a new warranty and she gave her bank card details. I m going to take her to the bank tomorrow to find out how much they took from her card. SCAM this was an automated number from the National Cime agency going to suspend my national insurance number and seize my assets Total scam as they wanted me to press 1 to continue which I guess would have done something very bad in the background

SCAM / SPAM Guy called 'Matthew' called about the government funded lagging I just had installed in my loft. Totally untrue but when I cheerfully said, 'I'm glad you called as I'm not happy with the installation' he hung up. Suggest everyone else does the same!!

This number has called me several time in the last couple of days. I answered politely this afternoon and they hung up!
I was getting calls daily from 01782401123 which I ignored. Research showed it was Advantis a know Telephone pest. They are now trying new tactics with thier new number 08448241820. If I have a debt, which I dont, then write to me, oh i forgot you cant because I dont answer the phone and give you any details. Advantis you can do one will be reporting this number as I have done with the other to ICO and Ofcom.
Looks like the guy also goes by the name Paul Watson, insists that you ring the 01613540995 number and ask for him alone.
after finding this no on telephone bill i knew i had not made this call. after re3ading pages and pages of york dialling code numbers with variations it is obvious these are scammers. what can be done about it
