SCAM / SPAM An automated message, have called me and said it's from Hmrc and that I have a tax collection warrant, and I need to press one to talk about this/to be redirected to the right person and if I will not press 1at that moment, then i will shortly be arrested and other threats, I didn't listen, after "get arrested" I hang up. Obvious scammers and scumbags.

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

Man with Indian accent trying to confirm my personal details, i questioned him why he needed to know when he asked which age group I was in, surprise! He then cut the call.
Got a phone call from this number 01529 267469 looking for someone I don't even know, said something about a road accident?! Are they just spam?

Called yesterday trying to drum up business for UK Essentials. I recently bought space talk watch for my daughter and she has been messaging me from it over the last five day. Someone has managed to figure this out and has pretended to be her messaging from a friends phone and asking me to text her on what's app via a different number.
It's a accident claims company, i've asked them to remove my number but they still call at least 3 times a day, i use truecaller on my mobile and it blocks them.
